Notes | Or "Son of Campus Monopoly" ... or "Always quit when you're ahead". It was felt that a "political" sketch was needed for the Group's first Edinburgh show. Campus Monopoly had been a major success in When The Boot Goes In, but was wholly Lancaster-centric. The combination of these considerations lead to this recycling of the format, with the three "writers" (guilty parties?) grinding out the necessary gags on 24/June/1977. The Edinburgh audiences greeted it with stony silence and it was cut mid way through the run. |
